HI Emma – Welcome! Such a good point about boys needing education on female hormones too!

I’m celebrating your determination and decision to use the scary news you received as fuel to improve your health for both of you. You’ve got this! xxx
Love how you followed your intuition on that!

Hi Emma, Lavender is often my go to and depending on your son’s age I would put it in a carrier oil. :> Curious to know what everyone else uses!
If you are keen to know Maria’s thoughts, this is a great question to ask in her next mastermind where she opens it up for 15 minutes of ‘ask anything.’
Yum! I haven’t done zucchini like this before! Am looking forward to trying it to have with dinner tonight :>
Hi Linda, Sounds like you are off to a good start! So glad you liked the broccoli soup – it’s a fave of mine :>
Yum! I am very much looking forward to trying these! Thanks for sharing!

Yvette I am normally not an advocate of rigidity . I believe it is ok for you to have a good peppermint tea. Maria x
Yvette, it sounds like you have taken some really positive steps. I also like how you are not trying to fit in the walk right now but have receognised the best time to implement. When we make small consistent changes we are much more likely to succeed!
Let us know what you thought of it!
Hi Aleisha and Linda,
I asked Maria about the fatigue protocol and she said it’s totally fine to continue with it (assuming it feels good for you). :>

Sounds like you are doing great Aleisha! If you are still feeling hungry, try upping your protein intake. It satiates hunger. Also, while we are looking at reducing calories, it is not about starving yourself as this can put the body into a different type of stress. For myself personally, when Im looking at how much I am eating, I don’t restrict myself to a particular quantity of food. I instead listen to my body and eat until I am not hungry… Which is very different from eating until full. To do this properly, you need to eat slowly so that your body has time to register the intake. If you eat fast, then you go past the not hungry point very quickly. Another trick form the Ayurvedic tradition is to notice when you burp (it can be very small). They say this is your body saying its had enough for now and I often notice that the burp comes right at the ‘Im no longer hungry’ point.
Hi Aleisha,
This is a response from Maria (she can’t get on the computer atm):
“Castor oil is normally for cleansing bowel like for constipation. I normally prefer to use magnesium and address other triggers as the oil adds calories and sometimes toxins to the body … it is an old tradition ….
Comes from cold press castor beans apparently you can get some organic ones but still I like to look at triggers first.
Maria”
